Sunnymaxi, any thought about this? View attachment 169151

Afterburner/max thrust of 25000-26000 lb-force = 111.2-115.7 kN = 11.2-11.6 ton-force.

Should the information is accurate/factual, I think the stats do line up with what we've discussed previously in this thread (statements from big shrimps, academic papers from N-years ago, etc).

actually AVIC is promoting J-35 for quite some time in different airshows as an alternative for F-35.. as per the information many countries showed interest but nothing official so far. remember one thing, there are not many countries who actually interested in stealth aircraft outside US sphere of influence. so let see.

and if you asked about Thrust in this article.

AECC didn't disclose any official specifications but we have research papers and other credible sources, which indicate WS-19 actual thrust reaching to high thrust category Engine despite its small size. which is huge

and if ever AVIC decide to export this aircraft they will likely to put WS-21 Engines. i think WS-19 is not for sale.

Any idea on the bypass ratio of the new engine? Is it more towards that of 135 or towards the f119?
WS-19? The preliminary research requirements from 15 years ago says 0.5.

But again, you don't need a BPR of <0.3 to achieve good supersonic performance. There are many more factors at play.

ACE may have gradually matured. a standalone continuous detonation engine or an improved ACE that replaces the main combustion chamber or afterburner with a continuous detonation combustion chamber (further significantly reducing fuel consumption)
Oh hey this was exactly what I was talking about!
