What? Only this? IMO i expected more, it seems like the EU talks the talk but does not intend to walk the walk
The imfamous deal was just an agreement to stop Chinese enterprises from purchasing vital assets from EU states. Like Piraeus and Genova ports, electric grids, KUKA robots etc. Piraeus more precisely, was forced auctioned by EU directive because of Greece's debt but the highest bidder upon European private or state funds was COSCO. COSCO took their steak out of their teeth LOL (??? That is about my country's sovereignity though) . EU core mentality is just like US. Oldschool wrinkled capitalists. Probably they put on table taxes on imports from China.

Sorry about this co-forumers , but i have to describe the situation in Greece , just to give you an example about the nature of EU. Greek national railways auctioned and bought by Ferroviane Italia, the Italian national railways. All regional state owned airports auctioned and bought by FraPort a German fund specialized in such investments . Same thing happened to former state owned Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation, bought by Deutsche Telekom and the story goes on. Painfull story. Although Greek capitalists got their thing of course from the looting of state assets. The rest of us Greeks suffering the worst decline of living standards in peacetime happened in human history. Capitalists are cannibals

On geoeconomics EU is an old dog. Highly protectionist, corrupt politicians, corrupt unions, inefficient companies, red tape everywhere, dysfunctional EU governance, infrastructure takes decades to be completed, failed economies on the mediterranean south, demographics crisis (not China's which they are gaslighting the world) which they tried.to address with the now famous engineers doctors and mechanics from Syria lol.

Brain drain from the US. Imagine having such a developed economy and shipping them to the US for free. At least China's brain drain is natural due to low salaries, low education capacity( not enough "good" universities) which is now being partly addressed by ramping up nationalism and switching the economy to more hi-tech high quality growth.

And the most disastrous mistake was EU letting US tech firms access their digital space smashing the local competition and now amassing the data for AI and thus increasing their presence there even more.

The only optimism i see is the new EU funds allocated for high tech development. If this policy fails to build strong and innovative companies to take root in the EU and internationally then i cant see any future hope for the EU unless something dramatic happens (e.g federalizing)

Seems like the US is forcing those PR wins from NATO nations for more freedom to trade with China or take a more neutral position later or a clean slow split between EU and US. The Dutch parliament votes pro genocide, so the US allows ASML and SMIC to trade in tech above 10nm.

This is a typical tactic of Western media, using fake stories to create a false sense of consensus. It's just like the time they reported on ethnic Mongolians protesting against Chinese education reforms, only to use pictures of protesters in the country of Mongolia.
One of these days, western media is going to be completely useless, because when the USA completely goes under, the people are no going to trust any media and will simply target the rich and powerful. So really, if there media going to of much help in the long term, when people are going to question what is more important, there bias crap against China or if I am going to like any longer without food due to the government;s response to practically every issue right now failing so miserably. So in the long run, all this propaganda is going to truly backfire
