Trump is like a shotgun. Shoot anything from his mouth and see what sticks. This tactics is all well and good in the beginning, but once people see through that. Well it's only down hill.

You can see from his business ventures, all starts with great grandfare and all ends in disasters!

It's not Trump who is the mastermind behind these sanctions, it's the rest of his cabinet who are not afraid of using all of America's leverage. Shit talking Trump is just cope.

The way they cut TSMC off from Huawei should have been a serious wake up call. That was a decisive battle that China lost.

The counter punch should be cutting TSMC from the US. That would mean exercising sovereignty over TSMC. It is totally legal for them to do so. After the takeover of TSMC, all production for worldwide clients from TSMC will be maintained, unless some foreign government acts irrationally.

And how are you suppose to do that? Taiwan is a sovereign nation.

Funny US can justify the usage of state led effort in an attempt to kill off the progression of a nation's technological development, while claiming that other's state led effort to develop (on their own)are illegal because it breaches free market rules. That is in view that almost all prominent US tech companies, from Intel, Google to SpaceX, has at various points receive funding via DoD/DARPA and huge DoD contracts.

Last Q of 2020 will be huge for China. Signing of RCEP, which will be the largest multilateral FTA. Signing of Iran-China trade deal that will see CPEC extend from Pakistan all the way to Turkey, along the way taking in Iran and 4 *tan nations. India's Chabahar Port will probably be implemented into CPEC by Iran, since India is still dilly dallying on playing both side of Iran/US. China will probably rent out Port of Jask from Iran and develop it into a mega port, rendering decades of US efforts building military bases along Strait of Hormuz useless.

Advancement of Saudi China relation will see Saudi willing to accept rmb into oil transaction with China. Power of Siberia 2 pipeline in talk. All the while South East Asian nations are building up rmb in their nationals reserves and switch to non USD settlement currency.

The justification for everything done to China is that Chinese are evil and should be genocided. Look at how they wish for the dam to break and kill 100 million Chinese.

What Chinese experienced is no different from what the Jews experienced. But what this also means is that Chinese will become a stronger israel.
