Here the protagonist said "When the land is parched farmer become trader. When becoming trader is so hard because of oppressive rule we migrate to find a better life" that show the flexibility and determination to better oneself Like this guy.

He is not a bad person I am not sure who is luckier. Let face it the Girl got a reliable provider who can provide her with good life and treat her fairly. He does not drink or beat his wife. He loves his family. Here he spoke about himself

Japan is only in a bad spot because of its trend, right now they can still handle it.

On the other hand, there is nothing that says China's 400 million elders in 2035 will continue to grow in proportion. For all we know, that could be the peak.

Total Dependency Ratio is children (<20yo) plus elderly (>65yo) as a ratio of 100 working-age population. Higher TDR means higher proportion of dependents relative to working age population.

Created using UN WPP2017 Medium-series projection data. Additional series are available for different age ranges (<15yo, <70yo, etc.).

How many children do you have ? US population growth is slowing down close to China levels and your future pension is linked to the stock market which at this point is one huge bubble of biblical proportions. The central banks insist on 2% inflation a year. This means that over the next 18 years the currency will loose more than 36% of its purchasing power. The inflation will eat away your savings and your future pension annuities. So, yes you and the rest of us will have to work to our graves.

well, the huge question is whether there will be any jobs available for people over 65-70 years old in let say 15-20 years time when robot will start doing repetitive jobs

After answering endless questions on how a man from a humble background like him managed to charm such an attractive foreign lady, Mei now wants to play matchmaker.

to bring Chinese men and Ukrainian ladies together.

Culove organises monthly tours to Ukraine for bachelors to meet their prospective brides.

You can find a beautiful Ukrainian wife too, this Chinese entrepreneur says
  • Remember him? In 2014, Mei Aisi made Chinese men green with envy by marrying a young and beautiful Ukrainian woman.

On each tour, 10 male participants pay about 69,000 yuan (S$14,000) for the six-day tour, which includes stays in five-star hotels and lavish dinner parties where they are introduced to 30 foreign beauties.

After the formal introduction, participants are free to get to know each other better in the following days through one-on-one dates at various scenic spots.

To help love blossom between the participants, Mei's company conducts free classes for Ukrainian women to introduce them to Chinese culture and learn how to converse in Mandarin.

In comparison with Chinese women who have set high standards for an ideal spouse, Mei said that Ukrainian women marry more for love and less for money.

And this is turning out to be a lucrative business too.

Mei said in TV programme Maker China that his team of three at Culove has managed to rake in 6 million yuan (S$1.2 million) over the first six months of operation.

Barely a year after launching the dating service, Mei has already seen at least one imposter in China that is offering similar services online.

But judging by how lavish Culove's dates are, it seems like only successful Chinese bachelors will be able to find an attractive foreign bride.

By the way, hows Wellington after getting rid of your electric buses when your city fathers have decided that diesel buses are the future. I ROFL when I heard after purchasing the buses, they are too wide for some of the tunnels. I guess you will be paying extra regional taxes for that stuff up.

China, U.S. presidents to map out future relations

Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang said Friday that the meeting between Chinese and U.S. presidents in Beijing next week is expected to map out a blueprint for the development of bilateral ties in a new era.

China and the

are working to ensure U.S. President Donald Trump's state visit a success, Zheng said at a press briefing.

Trump, who will visit China from Nov. 8 to 10, will be the first head of state to visit China since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Apart from formal activities commensurate with a state visit, "informal interactions" will be arranged for the presidents of the two countries, Zheng told a press briefing.

Using this opportunity, Chinese President

and Trump will have strategic communication on significant issues of common concern to build new consensus, enhance mutual understanding and friendship, and promote bilateral relations in all spheres, Zheng said.

The core of Sino-U.S. economic and trade is mutual benefit. Solving the trade imbalance between China and the United States requires expanding U.S. exports to China and increasing two-way investment, rather than restricting imports from China, he said.

Zheng said that a trade war would harm both countries, noting that the two economies are highly complementary and have great potential for cooperation.

China has always worked for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and for peace and stability on the peninsula, said Zheng, adding that the issue should be settled through dialogue and consultation.

China always strictly implements UN security council resolutions. At present, all parties should refrain from action that may escalate tensions and work to bring the issue back to the negotiating table, he said.

China and the United States share broad common interests and shoulder important responsibilities in safeguarding world peace and stability and promoting global development and prosperity, he said.

China is ready to work with the U.S. side to respect each other, pursue mutual benefit, focus on cooperation and properly manage differences, he said.
