Hitler's Basic Principles

These principles are abstracted from Jowett & O'Donnell.

  • Avoid abstract ideas - appeal to the emotions.
  • Constantly repeat just a few ideas. Use stereotyped phrases.
  • Give only one side of the argument.
  • Continuously criticize your opponents.
  • Pick out one special "enemy" for special vilification.

Dont believe too much on that. Even chinese leaders have a hard time believing their own numbers.
I believe that a whole lot more than I believe what Haterade-poisoned Westerners say. You have a problem interpreting articles. When an article says that some entity in China was caught doing something to puff up GDP, it shows that China pounces on this behavior to stop it as a bad apple. But people who specifically need to find ways to delude themselves to China's growth will say that this is a sign that China's entire economy is like the bad apple that was found, hunted down, and made an example of. It is basically the same logic that would assume that an entire country was made of criminals because a few are caught and sent to jail. Actually, China's gray market, unreported, untaxed transactions, is much larger than in the West, and China's stated internal goal is to underreport GDP in order to be considered a developing country for as long as possible.

On the other hand, Japan and especially the US are known to falsify economic data. In America's cause it even stupidly goes around publicly asking reporters to find ways to report the economy positively to drum up confidence in what is not there. America's economy isn't even calculated in a logical way; to appear larger, it adds nonsensical things like imputed rent, which is basically make-believe rent for if home-owners paid rent to themselves. China doesn't do any of this garbage; not only is the Chinese economy the largest economy by any honest measure, it is also by far the fastest-growing, most low-key, underreported and least boastful with the most potential.

I'm reading this report about Bio material industry in China. It says that the demand of corn have skyrocketed in China, due to surging industrial needs(bio fuel, bio-based material, degradable plastics etc). The price of corn have been rising fast in China ,but in order to protect domestic famers, the government only give tight import quotas. Companies can buy corn at international market price within quota(1% tariff), when quota is reached. Companies cannot import any more corn or pay very high tariffs(65% tariff). This hurts Chinese Bio tech industry in areas which need lots of corn. China is also pushing bio-based material as a clearer alternative to chemical-based one.

Thus China is in a delimma right now
The way I understand bio fuels, etc, assuming that we are talking about gasification, is that you don't actually use the food stuff, but the waste material. We are talking about DDGS and the likes here right? Whoever that is importing corn to turn it into fuel and plastic should be shot.
