Well, you did asked for explanation for a 5 year old.

And yes the bank B does exist.

Bank A = NYC or London
Bank B = Shanghai or Hong Kong

I hope that's more clear.

This is not a surprise at all. Since the US trade deficit and the lost of manufacturing competitiveness was never about foreigners stiffing Americans. Its all about America's domestic policies that favours speculation and consumption over savings and production. They have made the wrong diagnoses and have applied the wrong medicine and now they are paying the price for it.

I just understand the logic of this article Head China lost tail china lost that is what they want . China has gone full tilt in globalization to the detrimental of domestic supply chain case in point Semiconductor. They were strangled literally. What do you expect of course they aim for self sufficiency there is no brainer here . Seem like they are not happy with it because there goes the milking cow

lol, i found it funny that they are writing about "China un-doing economic miracle". There are far too many self appointed advisory board committee chairman in west at this pojnt of time i think
