doesn't mean he wont push for it if he re-elected again. since if he re-elected, he wont worry about election again, so he can do what ever the hell he wanted, including starting a war, or recognize taiwan etc.

Its in the video. But I think it's implied that due to the geopolitical situation, there is a lot of imperative to actually get through with the reforms as opposed to having them on the back burner as before.

If Trump goes to war that means he failed with China in his trade war especially since he thinks US soldiers are suckers and loser and the generals don't like him because Trump claims he's not for war. All those soldiers as cannon fodder for a President who will he will gladly sacrifice them just to save his ego.

i'm refer iran or even limited clash in ScS. in a shitty economy you never know whats gonna happen with Trump, especially he dont have to worry about election anymore. With all his aids are anti-china die hard, i doubt he will listen to reason. a mishap like 2001 could happen

Anyhow, what even is the benefit for China to transition to a full-service economy? I still see a lot of Chinese academics and policymakers emphasizing the need to get rid of the manufacturing and become like America, an economy fully dominated by services. But what even the point of doing so? What's the appeal of losing manufacturing from the country? IMO, China should just double down on automating manufacturing to keep its industrial base, growing services but not at the expense of manufacturing. Pursuing foolish de-industrialization for some abstract goal of a service economy, with no real tangible material value, like the West did 40 years ago, would be the biggest mistake China ever makes.
I doubt China is that stupid to fall for such a mistake, after all they saw what happened to the USA when they did that. China has had thousands of years to play the game and time to learn from its mistakes while the USA has only have a few hundred years and isn't even willing to entertain the idea that they can even make a mistake, let alone self reflection
