A company who won a lawsuit were paid the 50,000 Yuan (£5000) compensation owed to them in dirty, greasy coins in Zhenjiang, eastern China's Jiangsu Province. 'We didn't expect the compensation to be in dirty coins,' said the manager. 'We tried several banks, but all refused to convert such a large number of coins.' Eventually the company found a bank that agreed to take the coins and they had to transport them there in a lorry. Bank staff were forced to clean the coins in the canteen before being able to count it. 'It was a real money laundering,' joked Liu Pei, a director at the bank.

Hi, My friend. Did you try to scroll this photo up and down? It makes you feel that you've been drinking too much Malbec!

Don't they have machines in China that count large sums of cash? They must have.

I think many counting machines were made in China. Since it's competition, the staff have to use their hands. IMO, If they don't how to count cash by hands, they're not qualified to be a bank staff.

Mirage,

What do make of the bridge's design? Is it structurally safe? If it is a suspension design, it does not seem to have tall towers to hang the cables.
