yeah, don't trust in these claims. The US navy is well defended against the almighty "sizzler" missile as they call it. lol.
Admiral Michael Mullen, chief of U.S. naval operations said today.

So former Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England & Admiral Michael Mullen, chief of U.S. naval operations were LYING in that Bloomberg Article ??

Gee.... what an administration this country has.....

Big supersonic missiles with their tremendous heat signatures are easier to engage than smaller subsonic sea skimmers. The subsonic missiles do not have anything like the heat signatures of 3M80 etc. and they fly much lower. Less costly to produce too, so navies can afford more of them.

You might find this interesting. It's amazing what Google will find!

pictures coming out for ChangJian-10 (meaning long sword-10) LACM. I guess this is suppose to be Chinese equivalent of the tomahawk missile serving for the 2nd artillery. btw, this is supposed to be the same as DH-10.

Wow, this is a major unveiling. We have been waiting for final confirmation on this hardware for a long long time.

It's a bit of a surprise to see land based launchers though.

It looks like it's in a big city like Beijing so this could be part of the National Day parade.

hmm, DH-10 is probably the name for the navy. CJ-10 is the name for the 2nd artillery.

If Chinese bbs is correct, then CJ-10 will be 1 of the 5 new missiles they are showing. Should be the following
so DF-15B, DF-11A, CJ-10, DF-21C and DF-31A (no DF-41)

also, they will be showing
notice how HQ-9 and HH-9 are mentioned differently. I guess YJ-62 is still listed as a shore based AShM here.

what's the difference between df-31 and 31A? and how can you tell from their appearance anyways

I'd like to know if the DF-21C can be the supposed ASBM we've heard about, what does it mean that it's in the parade? If the parade is suppose to show China's military achievements, doesn't that mean it has been tested and works? Or is there a non-ASBM version?
