sino JASSM?

China already has multiple stealthy cruise missile designs that have been developed and at least one type in service (AKF-98).

This is just another LO cruise missile, with a square hull cross section.

I briefly wondered if this thing could be intended for carriage by J-20/J-35 weapons bay given it has a square cross section (not dissimilar to Kh-69), but at 5.4m in length it's a bit long for their weapons bay.

I agree! Seems like both the AFK-98 (both variants seen in the 2022 Airshow) and this new LO ALCM would be too long to be fitted into J-20/J-35’s internal weapons bay. JASSM is only 4.3 meters long, but already too big for the F-35’s internal weapons bay. Generally, for subsonic cruise missiles, the key would be low RCS. As the Ukraine war shows, non stealthy subsonic cruise missiles have little chance of penetrating multi-layered air defences, unless you can SEAD those enemy air defences first.

The Mach 0.4 cruise speed screams loiter capability to me. I think of something like the Delilah missile.
