this one i don't understand sir.. please elaborate little more

FC-31 is been testing for years. its relatively a mature platform now. this aircraft can be exported with WS-21 engines if SAC get some serious order ... i mean within few years FC-31 can be ready for exports.

There is no way that Korean "stealth" fighter jet will be ready before FC-31. With the J-20 experience, they can scale up FC-31 much faster.

No, the FC-31 is a testbed, a demonstrator and not an aircraft ready for export. I would even go so far to assume that it is unlikely a full avionics-suite was ever installed. As such any potential export customer - and additionally I don't think SAC would ever sell nor any customer buy a not yet completed type - needs to pay for finalisation of flight testing and so on.

I know, surely at the PDF some will immediately start hyperventilating and this these MUST be for Pakistan!

In the end I agree with you, "within few years FC-31 can be ready for exports", but surely not yet.

I'll try it again ... so far there IS NO FC-31. Those FC-31s flown first in 2013 & 2016 are demonstrators or testbeds, but no prototypes, which could be just put in production.

you don't have to be in production to sell a product. If customers are comfortable with the progress, they can make investment now. After all, many don't have a choice. It's either this or Rafale or F-15s

Tomatoes Tomatos. What’s there to stop them from releasing a version of J-35 for export and calling it J-31?

Surely the „new“ FC-31 or J-31 will benefit from the J-35‘s development and most likely be more exactly what you described - aka a de-navalised J-35 - than a evolved FC-31 (V2), but I think it is highly unlikely that this fighter will ready for production before the J-35.
