Display placards from this year's Changchun airshow. Nothing we don't already know, but posting them here for record keeping purposes.

I saw this pic but thought it's PS, apparently not though. Given the close military relations with China, it's a real pity they went for Rafale instead of J-10CE, which would have come not only with CM-400 but PL-15 and other goodies.

Interestingly, the appearance of the CM-400AKG is stirring rumors of a J-10CE purchase amongst Serbian military observers. Their logic is that, since the French would certainly disallow the integration of Chinese weaponry with the Rafales and that MiG-29s are almost due to be retired, it wouldn't make sense to purchase these missiles unless there is an available or up-and-coming platform that could carry them.

That certainly would be a logical move, Rafale will always by tied down by western political demands/blackmail, which make the contract for it even more puzzling unless it's just appeasement to EU, while the J-10CE could be the real tip of the spear capability wise.

Redelegation of MIG-29 to strike/attack roles (if that is the case) would be logical when the Rafales take over the air superiority duty. MIG-29's past air to air combat history is not impressive. Redelegate them to air to ground or maritime strike missions may extend their services longer as they don't have to fly that often as in air patrols.
