PL-15E and PL-10E carried by J-10CP. Looks like no dual pulse for Pakistan's PL-15. :(

I don't think we have any confirmation that the difference in range between PL-15E and the long rumoured range of PL-15 is due to a difference in propulsion.

For all we know it could be a difference in guidance or even flight control laws.

@siegecrossbow Sir my assumption, it's not a weapon downgrade BUT maybe for weapon standardization? JF17 block 3 may use it, and PL-15E range is based on the capability of AESA radar on the block 3? as the RD93 hadn't enough power to increase the range of the AESA?
This is a good point. For now the PL15-E suffices for PAF within the current dynamic. And the interoperability with Block 3 is an important factor, stocks of precious missiles can be shared between both types.
If the dynamic changes in india's favor, the full fat PL15 can be quickly supplied and inducted.

@Acerpacer thanks bro, China will never export an inferior product rather it exported more advance weapon than PLA currently use. The reasoning is simple Why destroy your sales marketing with an inferior product , more success means more order. And China is competing with the likes of Russia and the Collective West, it's a high bar to conquer BUT with J10CE, JF17 blk 3 , PL10E and PL15E, it had the product to compete plus another advantage with ease of operability and weapon usage. Ohh! lest we forget, NO string attach, without all those BS Kill Switch nonsense the US imposes when buying their weapons.

PL15E outrange all AA missiles in IAF inventory bar Meteor.

Hiya @ansy1968 , hard to tell, but I can tell you that J-10C radar is better than Rafael

But because both are export version, hard to tell. But I think J-10CE is better because even export version it is AESA compared to even original Rafael which is PESA
@antiterror13 Sir good day, That's what I think, the Pakistani having flown the Rafale from Qatar know it from inside out , It's The reason for acquiring the J10CE. And I think the Chinese will never export an inferior PL15, the E version is to equip JF17 BLK 3 and like what @Acerpacer had posted for interoperability with J10CE, IF there is a need for the Vanilla version the Chinese will not hesitate to provide one.
