The Guardian chose to villify Chinese Security Forces by putting quotations on terror when Chinese police launched a raid against terroists.
Erm, why did you post an article from 15 years ago?

ETIM (or whatever its called now) is virtually extinct in China. It was hardly a "war" in the first place, just enhanced policing for a few years.

The Soviets tried to incite an insurgency in the 80s to counter Chinese in the Afghan war, but it completely backfired.

Because China's counter terrisom is almost never discussed so I wanna talk about and I decided to bring up an old guardian article because it's a good forum starter. And btw Soviet supported insurgencys in 1968 not 1980s.
