I mean whatever it is, it probably isn't WJ-6 given the different intake shape and the nacelle radiator intake.

The engines on the Y-15 definitely aren't WJ-6s.

A more direct comparison:

In addition, those small pod-like structures at the bottom of the engine cowlings certainly aren't air intakes, given how far they are from the forward edge.

Someone got another photo of the Y-15 at a slightly different angle than the previous two. Posted by @聚四氟乙烯UR on Bilibili.

Yup, I think the photographer definitely either got a high-quality video clip of the Y-15, or did a continous/burst mode shot of the Y-15.

Don't forget that the WJ-10 is a military project, while the AEP-400 is a civilian project. Sharing technology doesn't mean they are completely identical. It's normal for the PLAAF to make the necessary adjustments.

Is AEP-400 technologically superior to the WJ-10?

I know I should’ve asked this weeks / months ago — but is that an air data probe or IFR probe?
