But isn't this the usual issue we most often have? The maiden flight of the KJ-600 has the same quality, the J-10C and J-20A with WS-10B/C in PLAAF service. These are all unproven things but in summary most likely they are true.
Yes, it is. Probably its true, but i prefer to only really believing it when its confirmed. But thats just me.
Lets wait for more pictures. The addition of WS-20 engines will make Y-20 more powerful and most perhabs more important, prove that china can develop and produce high-bypass engines, even if right now they arent as good as the western/russian ones.

Come on The western analyst/press/media alway repeating this same BS "not as good as western engine" But is it true ? Right now ALL Chinese , J16, J11,J20, Y20, even J10 are going to be equipped with Chinese engine That should show that they have confidence in their engine. I mean they are latecomer when it come to jet engine and having teething problem but that applied to anyone. So give them credit for job well done even under difficult condition of tech embargo.
I do wonder, if you get “final” proof, whether your views about what counts as reliable or unreliable information in PLA watching will change.
You can wait for more pictures all you want. Meanwhile, the rest of us are already content with the picture we have seen. At some point don't you believe your relentless (and unsubstantiated) pessimism should come to an end?
