It will come eventually (supposedly 2020). Chinese aviation are advancing faster than anyone out there. The status quo are changing the Boeing and Airbus executives are biting their knuckles with nervousness.

No reason to think that current Y-20 or even Il-76 can't carry armored vehicles for airborne units.
