I kind of expected to see thrust reversers engaged landing in the rain, do they usually not use them? Still has never been a Y-20B photographed using one if I'm not mistaken.

Probably because there are not many photo or video of Y20B landning available to public. Eventually we will have it. especially if a full landing video becomes available. Most likely they use cascade type thrust reverser commonly found on high bypass engines.
