项目的建成投产,实现了液氧煤油发动机由单件研制向适用于工程化的小批量生产模式转变,具备了液氧煤油发动机稳定、高效、可靠的重复工程化生产能力,满足了两型液氧煤油发动机工程化研制和重大专项飞行任务的需要。

本项目为发动机由固定工位布局向脉动式装配模式的转变提供了建设思路和布局基础,以总装为牵引,拉动部段装配及核心组件制造进行节拍化、准时化匹配,从整流化和均衡化的角度完善生产计划管理模式,摸清精益生产模式深刻内涵和边界条件,六院7103厂将通过建设发动机总装、涡轮泵、阀门脉动装配线,实现装配资源专业化配置,保证装配一致性的同时,大幅缩短装配周期,提升产能。

The first test run of a prototype 100-kilowatt Hall-effect thruster was a success. The thruster is being developed by the Lanzhou Research Institute of Space Physics and Technology. The test achieved a trust of 2.1N and a specific impulse of 2980s under a stable power output of 50kW.

【大功率霍尔电推进系统首次联试点火成功】2023开年之际,由兰州空间技术物理研究所电推进事业部和二次电源事业部联合研制的百千瓦级霍尔推力器与大功率PPU样机首次联试点火成功。

电推进事业部与二次电源事业部协同攻关,先后突破了百安级大电流阴极技术、放电室磁场“磁屏蔽”技术、基于新型功率器件空间电源应用技术、超大功率高效率变换技术、宽范围功率和电压调节等关键技术,完成了百千瓦级霍尔推力器与大功率PPU样机首次联试点火,在单台PPU样机50kW功率稳定输出条件下,达到推力2.1N,比冲2980s的实测指标,性能达到国内领先水平,实现了我所大功率霍尔电推进系统的技术突破,取得了重要的阶段性成果。大功率霍尔电推进系统具有大推功比、高功率密度等技术特点,在大范围轨道转移、星际间货物运输、深空探测等空间任务中具有广泛的应用前景。

在本次联试中,还分别采用氙工质和氪工质开展了大功率霍尔电推进系统性能试验,试验结果达到预期目标。后续,研究所将重点针对大功率霍尔电推进系统的集成化及轻量化设计、热负荷控制与管理、寿命评价等技术方向持续开展联合攻关,力争早日实现系统级产品工程应用...

China will launch the Magpie Bridge 2 (鹊桥二号) satellite in 2024 to provide communications relay for Chang'e 6 mission, which will land on the far side of the Moon. The satellite will also provide communication services for Chang'e 7 and 8 missions.

, which is a joint project between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the European Space Agency. An engineering prototype has passed various assessments, and the project is now moving onto the prototype stage. The final spacecraft is scheduled to be launched in April of 2025.

Tl;Dr: Rover should probably be fine, it's still too cold and dark in that region of Mars to expect the rover to automatically wake up yet. No official news.

If it failed, it failed. If Space exploration was easy then everyone would be doing it. IMHO, China did a great job and I hope they provide further inspiration to others to continue (or take) that long march into Space.

Zhurong didn't fail - it achieved it's primary engineering and scientific goals and exceeded it's expected operational life of 3 months by over a year and a half. By all accounts, it's a stunning success to accomplish such a hard task on the first try in a single mission
