Two slides from IAC 2022 from two months ago, presented by Mr. Wu Weiren (吴伟仁), the chief of China's lunar exploration project. Both Chang'e 7 and Chang'e 8 missions will focus on the lunar south pole. Notably, Chang'e 7 will deploy its 'hopper' to look for water in the deep impact craters of the south pole, where water might exist in ice form due to a lack of sunlight. Together with Chang'e 8, the two missions will carry out extensive surveys of the topography and geology of the lunar south pole.

The chief of China's lunar exploration program has confirmed at a forum event (1st image) that Chang-e 6 mission will carry four international payloads, which have by now been technically verified. For more information on the international payloads, see the 2nd image, which was taken at an earlier event (IAC 2022).

China should develop this kind of weapons, I am sure USA is working on it , they have huge number of satellite & advantage in reusable rockets

The chief of China's lunar exploration project –– Mr. Wu Weiren –– has confirmed at the same event that Chang'E 6 will aim to collect 2000 grams of soil sample from the dark side of the Moon in 2024. For reference, Chang'E 5 mission returned 1731 grams of soil samples back in 2020.

近日,由中国航天科技集团五院529厂承担的天舟五号燃料电池搭载载荷项目顺利完成了在轨实验任务,标志着我国首次完成了空间燃料电池在轨试验。

前期,529厂组织由电能源传输与控制、流体驱动与传输、表面工程技术三个专业形成的燃料电池团队完成了产品研制并顺利装船。在轨实验过程通过多个工况的循环验证,顺利完成了所有既定任务,取得了圆满成功,初步验证了燃料电池能源系统在轨舱外真空、低温及微重力条件下发电特性、变功率响应规律以及电化学反应的界面特性,为空间燃料电池能源系统的研制和关键技术攻关提供重要的数据和理论支撑。后续529厂燃料电池项目团队将在本次搭载验证工作的基础上,深入开展空间燃料电池能源系统的工程化研究工作,实现我国燃料电池能源系统的宇航应用。
Recently, the Tianzhou-5 fuel cell carrying load project undertaken by the 529 Factory of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation successfully completed the on-orbit experiment task, marking my country's first completion of the space fuel cell on-orbit test.

In the early stage, Factory 529 organized a fuel cell team composed of three majors: electric energy transmission and control, fluid drive and transmission, and surface engineering technology to complete the product development and successfully ship it. The on-orbit experiment has passed the cyclical verification of multiple working conditions, successfully completed all the established tasks, and achieved a complete success. It has preliminarily verified the power generation characteristics and variable power response of the fuel cell energy system in orbital vacuum, low temperature and microgravity conditions. The law and the interface characteristics of electrochemical reactions provide important data and theoretical support for the development of space fuel cell energy systems and key technology research. The follow-up fuel cell project team of Plant 529 will, on the basis of this verification work, carry out in-depth engineering research on the space fuel cell energy system to realize the aerospace application of my country's fuel cell energy system.
