And they now say need to wait until 2027 before having 300 satellites in space.

The 138 satellites will now constitute a first phase, to be completed by 2023, according to Changguang Satellite official Jia Hongguang, China News Service

Oct. 27. The second phase will then see the constellation to be expanded to 300 satellites by 2025.

Why plan delayed? (changed from 2025 to 2027) o_O

Another question: How's Changguang's current tech, satellite/service scale, market cap compared with other global players, like Maxar, Airbus, Planet Labs, etc.?

General
The launch of Zhuque-2E Y2 has been scrubbed for a later date due to a technical fault caused by a support crew error: improper handling of a ground support cable connector, causing the cable to disconnect from the rocket and disrupting the pre-launch preparations. The rocket and other equipment are not damaged from this incident.

The launch has been rescheduled for Saturday.

I have always wondered, aren't fairings supposed to be streamlined and aerodynamic? Or does it not really affect the rocket's performance?
It is thermal protection for the payload when the rocket is standing on the ground for hours waiting for the launch window. The temperature inside can be very hot or cold. Same protection may also be applied to fuel tanks.

It would naturally shake off soon after lift-off. See this CZ-2D launch. You can see white pieces dropped off from all over the rocket including the fairing. By 30s everything is gone.

This is the 27th launch after all :) Nothing is known about the March, supposed launch of Kuaizhou, except for preliminary NOTAM and vague rumors about an explosion on the launch pad. Even the modification of the missile is not known exactly. At best, it is a “launch preparation accident”.
