Thats a lot of unpacking to do. They really drew the short end of the stick for doing all this heavy work

Do we know for how long they will stay up there, is it 3 or 6 months?
3 month, the other construction crews will all be 6 month each.

I imagine Shenzhou-14 and 15 will be similarly busy, as they each will be dealing with a new big module no doubt also similarly filled with boxes.

It's a micro-gravity environment, so in that respect it's a lot easier to handle the cargo. They just need to make sure to follow the instructions and properly secure the items in their designated spots.

They will stay for three months.

long stay in space means significant exposure to radiation, young people, especially unmarried ones, will not be picked. you may have noticed the three astronauts are not young.

Because they are the veterans, been to space several times. They are there to ensure the CSS works perfectly. You can't just send some young taikonauts without previous experiences to the CSS.
