I was wondering why they need fancy chairs then I saw them in action with people assisting the taikonauntsA close family friend is the founder/owner of the company that designed and built the chairs that astronauts sit on after exiting the capsule. feels strangely proud now as if I have some personal association with the Chinese space program.

At 10:25, Sept 18 (utc+8), Tianzhou-2 cargo ship detached from the rear docking port of the CSS and then maneuvered to the front and docked to the front port of the CSS, leaving the rear port for the upcoming Tianzhou-3 cargo ship.
The detaching-maneuvering-reattaching mission was executed automatically by the cargo ship within 4 hours.
I think the astronauts are not supposed to conduct extensive physical activities after a long time in space, but some minor actions are ok if they feel comfortable.
Ye, it came to me that previous taikonauts assisted by recovery people, sitting in chairs after their landing, and these new type are better designed for their comfort and the people carrying the chairs, with the fancy handles
Probably for comfort after such a g-shock landing and ease for the rescue crew to ferry the taikonaults. Why do you sit in a comfortable armchair after a hard day's work?
