So many steps for a successful mission only increases the chance of a malfunction at some point. So far pretty good. Fingers crossed. I was reading an article the other day about the ESA wanting cooperation with China specially in its automated space technology. Basically at this point for China is what are the Europeans offering in return? It seems that everyone wants something from China but somehow think they don't have to give anything back.

Why am I sometimes seeing the crater as "bumps" and sometimes as "craters" as it should be?

Is it just me, or is anybody else here experiencing the same thing?
It's called the hollow-face illusion, never heard it happen to people for just craters though...

Well, it happens to me all the time. I see the craters as "bumps" much more often than as "craters" although I know it's some kind of optical illusion, and it should be the craters that I should be seeing.

Anyone have photo of the Chinese flag actually planted on moon surface? Or it's just attached to the landing vehicle but not actually planted on the ground? Thanks.

It isn't planted on the ground and the planting of the flag was never the intention.
