You're also forgetting COVID. One pandemic, two rocket failures, LHD fire. If you're superstitious, it's all been predicted as the 60 year Chinese Zodiac cycle completes and resets. 1960 - Great Chinese Famine, 1900 - Boxer Rebellion, 1840 - First Opium war beginning in earnest. Is it still coincidence and confirmation bias when it's this clear?
I'm not the superstitious type, but 2020 has been cursed.
I actually think the COVID-19 situation will wind up in China's favour when all is said and done. The damage it did to America is far worse than what it did to China; I'll happily take a punch to the gut that doubles me over if it means my enemy takes a bullet to the head.

China's first satellite (Dongfanghong I) is still in orbit. She was launched on April 24, 1970, exactly 50 years ago. April 24 is now the Chinese Space Day. Photos below show the venerable satellite being tracked.
