the crew's first day in TG-1:

All three took their meals, and Wang Yang Liu and Liu rested last night and it is the commander Heiping JING who stayed up, he re-installed some equipment and prepared the experiments to do TODAY. This morning LIU Wang will perform several tests of communication with the ground (as sending emails, SMS, videoconferencing) while Yang LIU will begin medical experiments (it is her role in this mission).

The temperature in TG-1 is stabilized to 22°C ~ 23°C and humidity to 40%.

I think it is some bird or insect flying much closer to the earth than the rocket.

"No matter whether it is for the manned spaceflight project or the communication system for tracking, telemetry and command (TT&C), the launching of the Shenzhou IX spacecraft marks a new milestone." said Qian Weiping, chief designer of the TT&C communication system of the manned spaceflight project, on June 17, 2012 during an interview.

"The mission should examine whether the TT&C communication system can meet the requirements of fully supporting future space station and space activities." said Qian Weiping.

Qian Weiping told the reporters that the land, sea and space-based integrated architecture of the TT&C communication system took initial shape through the Shenzhou VIII mission, and the manned Shenzhou IX spacecraft will further examine and consolidate the system through optimization, making it an excellent one that can permanently support China's manned space activities.

Do I hear a conspiracy theory of high flying spy aircraft monitoring the launch?

Another of the panelists suggested that the Taikonauts would already have started to adjust themselves to the weighlessness in SZ-9 in the 2 days before the docking with TG-1.

Why am I not surprised you find it bizarre? In fact all the requirements have practical reasons.

1. Married (and with children). ____Because of the risk of what radiation can do to the reproductive organs.
2. Gave natural birth.____________A ceasaerian would mean a scar in the abdomen. Reason is same as those of point 4.
3. Bad mouth odor.______________Don't really need explanation here.
4. Scars.______________________Risk of tearing in low pressure environment or spacesuit.
5. Foot diseases._______________Same as 3.

I suspect 3 & 5 also have to do with not introducing too many excess microorganisms into the spacecraft's environment.

Some details on the manual control system of the Shenzhou spacecraft.

It say that the manual control existed since Shenzhou-4 but the system was never activated or powered, and it is during the first docking of Shenzhou-9 with TQ-1 that the system was activated and powered for the first time and it is controlled by Wang LIU, even if ultimately it does not need to use because the autopilot was working perfectly. At the end of the journalist tried the manual docking in the simulator.

In this vid, we learn that the manual control system can control orbital maneuvers, docking and return to Earth. The autopilot has priority over manual control, the astronauts can use manual control only when the automatic system fails "in a non-recoverable way".

Sai Chao Wang (Researcher at the "Purple Mountain Observatory" of Chinese Academy of Sciences) has already classified the phenomenon into the UFO file of the observatory.

Astronauts in the orbiting lab module Tiangong-1 received their first e-mail from Earth on Tuesday afternoon, the Beijing Aerospace Control Center (BACC) confirmed.

The e-mail containing photos, text and videos was sent through a special communication channel between the control center and the lab module,
a statement from the center said.

Through this communication channel, astronauts can maintain instant contact with Earth, which facilitates their work and contributes to the quality of their spare time, the statement said.

The three astronauts, including the country's first female in space, entered the cabin of the Tiangong-1 on Monday afternoon, becoming the first group of Chinese to enter an orbiter in space, shortly after a successful automatic docking procedure between the orbiter and the Shenzhou-9 spaceship.

Deng Yibing, chief engineer of the astronaut training center, told Xinhua that the astronauts had been busy checking the facilities and doing experiments over the past day.

The environment inside the orbiter has been quite comfortable, with the temperature at 22 to 23 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 40 percent, Deng said.

Although they experience 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours as the orbiter circles Earth every 90 minutes, astronauts wake up and rest in line with Earth time.

"They got up at 6 a.m. Beijing Time today and will go to bed in the evening," Deng said. One will remain on duty while the others sleep, and the three will take turns sleeping, he said.

during CCTV-4 live coverage the expert (director) from astronaut center of china said being married with children is a preference not a absolute criteria.

This is a much repeated myth.

3 and 5 could also mean less risk of getting infection. Human body behaves weird in the weightless space. One of the side effects is immune system, which is seriously compromised in space. This means that, if you have excess microorganism living on you, you become extra susceptible to infection. Getting sick in space can be deadly, also because of compromised immune system.
