China should take this Iran war opportunity to heavily punish the Philippines. Out of all the potential attack opportunities against the likes of Japan, Taiwan or others, Phillipines is the weakest with least amount of blowback. They can easily takeover a few spratly islands and Ph will not be able to do anything.

Natuna island
literally also a Chinese island straight up stolen by indonesia. an imperialist country that is also still invading papua new guinea just like its colonial dutch predecessors, similar to india just not on the same scale. India is unquestionably of course the worst of all and one of the biggest imperialist in the world with no military to back it up.

indonesia's massacre of chinese people in 1998 is also swept under the rug just because they are they are never a prominent country and reporting/ condemning it does not help the western sinophobic agenda. that said, I'm highly critical of the Chinese government (regardless PRC or ROC) of not defending our full islands, and not helping Chinese people enough in 1998. I believe the non-intervention policy must be eradicated one day or our foreign policy as a superpower is just too weak with condemnation all day without appropriate actions, to the point where it is memed by pro-china and anti-china circles alike.

Also, the recent Philippine attempts to invade our SCS island should not even occur in the first place. PLAN and our troops should have stationed there in the first place this whole time. The fact that philippines could even have the idea of an invasion on their mind is already absolutely unacceptable.

Chinese embassies did the best they could and warned ethnic Chinese Indonesians to seek shelter within the embassy before the riots. However, Wanwanese embassies spread news that there was nothing to worry about and since most rich Indonesian Chinese distrusted communists at the time, they ignored the warning. And when the massacres happened the Wanwanese immediately blamed the Mainland for not doing anything.

Sounds to me like the rich Indonesian Chinese decided to choose death by stupidity.
