China's SCS Strategy Thread

So after the recent collision incident involving the Chinese coast guard and a Philippine vessel in the renai jiao, Filipino commentators were quick to mock the damaged Chinese coast guard ship 4103. Filipino commentators say the quality of Chinese ships are no match against the Japanese-built Philippine coast guard vessel.
I took a quick look at the Facebook comments and have concluded that the average IQ is about 50. No wonder they have been identified by USG as the optimal cannon fodder.

The Chinese coast guard ship was rammed at least 3 times, and the holes were cause by Philippino ship's bollard. The bollard is a round cylindrical rod made of solid steel, and used to tie mooring rope of a ship.

The top of the bollard has larger diameter than the body , thus it would hit the steel plate of CCG ships hull like a solid knife, and also there is steel chain in front of the bollard that can cause damage to the steel plates. It is not surprising that tha combination of bollard, steel chain and may be the pointed front hull cut the small holes on the steel plate without causing depressions around the cuts.

From what I can tell, China's current strategy is to calm tensions publicly with all other parties and keep any disagreements to private discussions.

This way, Philippines' provocations look more and more like autistic screeching by the day

And I think it seems to be working. SCS used to be such a huge issue just a couple years ago but nowadays Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei pretty much don't care about it anymore. Everybody just views Philippines as a clown.

Geopolitical lesson 101, respect is earned NOT given especially as your surname is a Marcos.

@ansy1968 What is the current mood over there for total mobilization in the event these incidents in the South China Sea escalate to an open conflict?

Marcos looks very happy. At this point, it looks like the Philippines is completely lost and has been taken over by the Pro West elitists

None, they had just re-instated College ROTC program starting in 2022 and my son will be finishing his curriculum this year. All they do is marching around ( fooling around if you ask me) doing basic survival stuff nothing else.

If there is a general mobilization, people will act hysterically and demand an explanation, who want to send their children to be massacre, that's the last thing this administration will do cause they know there will be riot in the street.

So they will go to the province to recruit a lot of meat grinder BUT it will be a Naval War and it requires qualify technical personnel to operate those ships and aircraft which will be only found in the city, Marcos knows it and it's why he want the US and Japan to fight a war for him.

You need to learn how to read facial expressions better. Marcos has on literally the fakest smile I have seen in years. Kishida on the other hand looks miserable and like he cannot even be bothered to put on a fake one.
