China's SCS Strategy Thread

The British will likely join America in exercises in SCS next year. Dramatically upping the ante. I can see Australia joining them as well.
So? Japan can join them too. The annoying dude brought 3 dogs so they can bark and yell together as they jealously watch you build up your house. He's still just annoying and none of them can stop China from building and developing, achieving the substance as it usually does.

These forces are not nothing. They sent a powerful signal to SEA nations, and likely pressuring them to switch sides. They are likely working together to track Chinese subs and navy activities. And in the event of war, they are guaranteed to assist the US with battle ground intelligence.

Unless there's actually a fight, they're next to nothing. What country that isn't pressured by the US is going to be pressured by its little henchmen? If they show up to track Chinese assets, China can track them and gain intelligence on them as well.

If there's an actual naval battle, that's a whole new can of worms and I don't sense from any of them that they dare or even want to fight China. They showed up fully intent on going back home, not dying in the SCS under a hail of Chinese ASBMs in the name of American interests. Only a US driven mad by fear may attempt such a thing but I don't see that either.

Actually, this whole thing is an imaginary event as of now and I don't see what your point is. Are you saying that China should get ready to fight these little gremlins or send them flowers or just reporting what might happen?

I am curious what would prevent US forces from directly engaging with Chinese forces at this point? All aspects between two breaking down. Thats really nothing to hold back at this point.

US knows China wont do first strike and also knows it has better conventional weapons especially in air and sea.
China has the SCS covered in ASBM capability. No first use is worth the paper it's written on when shit hits the fan. Besides, with all the disasters we've been seeing from the US military as of late, we have no idea what kinds of deficiencies they're really dealing with while maintaining a visage of superiority.

They are gearing up for war. The Us is also developing long range missiles of their own, and is trying to erase any tactical advantage China has regarding range.

US is provoking because it believes it can win. War is very possible.
