China's Legendary Swords

There were reports that in the defense of the Great Wall, the daos were used to hack through Japanese soldiers. So I guess in close combat, they're quite effective, and a rifle isn't a defense to them. The swords the average Japanese soldier wielded at that time, were cheap gunto, which were katanas made of machined steel. Against a big sword, in a sword vs. sword contact, the gunto would break.

Liu Bang slay snakes of the things, although history records, but I studied this part of history, read a lot of historical data, there is no record of Liu's sword, Liu Bang recorded history, is the Sima Qian <Records>, It is generally accepted is a historical masterpiece, it recorded Liu Bang chopped snake, but did not mention his sword, at least, it is not a ancient sword.
China's Qin Dynasty, does not allow private possession of any cold weapons(include any kitchen knife), Liu Bang was a civilian, was made head of the township like a small officer, he could not possibly have any ancient sword.
China's famous ancient sword is the sword of Gou Jian Yue is done bronze sword was many years ago archaeologists excavated in Jiangsu Province.
