honestly, such a spike of attacks are irregular
not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but are these cases connected? i mean, in some ways?
maybe the government should garrison 8-10 officers at each school armed with tasers and metal detectors at gates as temporary measures

No need for that many officers at each school. I think a perfectly good way to handle the situation is to activate several members of the local militia/reserves at a time, give them training in how to deal with these attacks, and then post them to the schools for a set period of time. Of course, put a law in place that makes this service mandatory, and the person's parent company shall grant full pay to the person summoned. This will require action from the top down, but it shouldn't be hard to enact.
