Today is double 10 day. It is the other Chinese "national" day. The Chinese national day for all Taiwan and the KMT.

Even though they are the enemy of CCP China, at least they still admits to being Chinese! Unlike Tsai and her cohorts. So let's congratulate them for all Chinese everywhere.

And the descending voice of the Taiwanese general. Imagine if this was a Chinese general. The MSM would have field day. As it is, it has gone by without any MSM mentioning it even as a footnote.

Why would you ever be looking forward to such a dreadful turn of events?
I don't think any Chinese person is looking forward to the resumption of the civil war, but nevertheless it's in the Anti-secession Law. If peaceful reunification is no longer possible than the only option left is reunification by force.

On the upside if it can be achieved relatively bloodlessly than it would bring final closure to the civil war and that's definitely a good thing.

You sounded suspiciously excited about it all. Sad to hear that you are in favor of violence against people who've done you no harm.

I'm sure @Temstar is perfectly able to defend himself. But I just can't stand back and watch you using your mind gymnastics twisting his words. You know jolly well he's not glorifying violence. So please stop portraying as such. It doesn't become you.

I would also be supportive of a war against

Is that Ma Ying-jeou waving the ROC flag there?

Recently Ma Ying-jeou and Chen Shui-bian have been doing a surprisingly large amount of shit talking towards Tsai Ing-wen regarding separatism. Whilst I certainly don't agree with their policies when they were in power I welcome this change in tone. However I'm also not naive enough to think that this represents a change of heart in these two, rather they are cunning politicians that can see which way the wind is blowing and they probably want to be on CPC's good book in the event of reunification.

The joke currently is 马 and 扁 put together is of course 骗.

Yes indeed. It is Ma ying-jeou waving the flag. Yes I agreed with much of what you said. He is after all, a politician, and like all politician can bend with the wind.

But, I think we have not given him enough credit for his stance on being Chinese. During his presidency, he try and forge a better relationship with China, because he's deep down, a Chinese. He also know the future of Taiwan is with China.

But he also have to pampered to his electorates, and given his slim majority, he has to walk a fine line. I personally felt he have alienate a lot of people by his pro-china stance.

Nevertheless, I think he has done a good job balancing this tricky question which every Taiwanese leader have to make. Whereas, Tsai is just a separatist. Full stop. And not only that, she will go as far as enlisting foreign powers to achieve this aim.

She would declare full independence at a drop of a hat if she can. She is just a traitor. But hardly surprising.

Because of her stance. Taiwan has had 5 years of stagnation and, without influence all over the works. The only people willing to pay any attention to them are USA and that idiot from Czech republic.

As such, I think Taiwan would be better off if Ma is still president of Taiwan.

In another thread he was admiring the potential of decapitation weapons deployed by stealth platforms over Taiwan. The bloodlust in his spirit deserves no defense, but condemnation.
