You are probably right if you are not part of the victims ;) , it could be you though

It is not hard to plan it better, I am actually very surprised. normally PLA is superb in planning

But like Blitzo said, just wait for more news first
The chance of missile hitting a plane is probably one in a million. So nothing well if it hit the plane tough luck!

Got this map from one of the comments underneath H.I. Sutton's Twitter post on the SLBM launch.

There is allegedly a NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) already been set up in advance around the region for the purpose of said SLBM test launch in the South China Sea.

Quoting from the Chinese news sources below dated 20th and 23rd May 2022, "no-fly zones has been set up in the South China Sea from the 19th to 23rd May 2022", of which both articles presumed the test launch of Dongfeng missiles or some other new kinds of long-range missiles.

there is no such thing as an accidental launch of an SLBM. even assuming that there are absolutely 0 permissive action links and any random sailor can launch by pressing a single button, you must be at launch depth to even attempt to launch and the probability of being at launch depth, far shallower than operating depth, while an accident occurs simultaneously, is vanishingly small.

now my question is, why do you suggest accidental launch? what are your motivations for suggesting this when this sort of event has never occurred in all of history and is something that is guarded against by design in every single strategic weapons system since the 1950's? we all know the answer to that.
Well, to be fair, this did actually happen just a 2 months ago:

I would care if that ballistic missile hits a civilian aircraft and killed 150 people.

On top of that, why would you want a secretive test to be unveiled to public by an airline pilot? The entire thing is ridiculous. Even if you don't care about it possibly hitting a civilian aircraft, having a secretive test getting publicized like this is something that should be avoided.
Is very difficult that would hit the airliner, is like throwing a bullet randomly and expecting to hit a flying drone. Also the submarine probably didn't even expected that a jet will fly over there, the jet probably diverted from its route to avoid some weather or turbulence.
