I think the image on the previous page is doctored, ie the inflight pic flipped and doctored to look like it's on the ground (look at the exhausts, what are the changes the flipped flight pic and the supposedly one on tarmac were taken at the exact same angle - or rather opposite angle?), while the above heavily censored picture is real, and i think they went further, they probably mashed together the flipped picture with the censored one above.

Could these photo's be from the same guy who posted this one. And deblurred his photo in light of the recent reveal of the rear from another picture? I reckon these photo's could be apart of a video. The graininess could likely be a filter which could explain the uncanniness in looking edited. They may have edited out the building too? because both images to be honest have like tree branches in them.

That is also possible.

TBH, at a certain point, once an image is so deliberately obfuscated, if it doesn't show anything new which we haven't already seen in prior better quality imagery, it almost doesn't matter whether an image is real or not. It just becomes a waste of time for us

starboard splitflaps not open? i think not. the dark 'outline' around the plane is also highly suspect and most likely an artifact of extracting the airplane from a dark background

It seems there were a sound of boom heared over Chengdu a few hours ago (about 11:00 Beijing time), cause is unclear. However, there was a text message sent to phones in Chengdu, stating all Chinese citizens have an obligation to keep secrets. Some local news report that the emergency management agency of Chengdu responded and confirmed that the boom is "related to aircraft test flights".

Across all social media platforms, there are many posts with #成都巨响# (Chengdu big boom), some also mention there were actually two booms, another one was at about 2 pm Beijing time.

Chengdu is rainy today so it might also be just a false alarm, could be just a lightning.
