Cars! Cars! Cars!

Why not? I like the classic look.

My friend, I'm no longer a young boy but I'm not an old man either. I would reserve anything old but to use it for my daily ride? I surely want something new and modern. Further, if you crash that antique in an accident, it hurts!

PS. Back to the 50s and 60s, did cars then have aircon?

Yes. I owned a 69 Chevy Impala and it had factory AC. My dad owned a 64 Impala which was about three years old when he bought it and it had factory air conditioning.

I had an aunt that had a 57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser and it was air-conditioned. I was just a kid but I'm sure it was added on at the dealer. It was a unit that hung under the dash board.

I like the universal joystick handle driving instead of the wheel, therefore eliminating the need for either left side driver or right side driver. I wonder what's the range on that thing?

Well, this is just a car concept created in 2012. I don't think it would become real in any foreseeable future. And if it becomes real, I think it would need a lot of electric power to lift it up. Given its rather small size, I think range won't be too far. And yes, if the world could unify the driving wheel issue, it would be just too great.

How is this for a flash back to the past: The Argentine Ford Falcon is a car that was built by Ford Argentina from 1962 to 1991. Mechanically, it was based on Ford USA's 1960 Falcon. The Falcon retained the same elegant body style throughout its production, with several substantial face lifts taking place during its lifespan, giving it a more European flavour and bringing it into line with other more contemporary Fords. However, several decades later it was apparent that it was a 1960s design wearing a 1980s grille.

When I was a kid in '60-'61 we had a babysitter named Claudia. Her boyfriend had a 1960 Pontiac Bonneville. It looked like the one pictured below.... same color. In the summer he'd drive us around in that car. My sister and I thought we were so very, very cool;
