I would say the children of a billion parents make a sizable lego market.

It turns out that Denmark exports more than lego (plus some lego is manufactured in China and therefore has less value to Denmark due to missing out on wages and employment-related taxes). Weird, right, I guess most people here thought it was the entire basis of their international trade.

For what, little to gain but just cheap political points and bribe from tiny Taiwan. Politicians should look out for a country's interest not his own pocket.

I'm not sure that it's in the Czech Republic's interests to take orders from Beijing on matters of foreign policy when China makes for such a small proportion of its trade, despite years of the Czech President's attempts to curry favour with the CCP to increase it.

Honestly, guys, you seem to have a very condescending view towards small countries. Like you think national pride is equal to a country's size, ergo only China has a right to want to do things its own way and small countries should be used to following orders from bigger ones. You might find it hard to understand, but sometimes small nations get irritated by being bossed around by bigger ones.

What is the purpose of the noble peace prize anymore since I don't here many people really caring about it as much anymore. I don't think Gordon Chang is all that there given that nothing he says is working out well at all

It'sl ost its original purpose. It's now a complete western propaganda tool used to demonize any country it sees fit.

Who ever said Beijing was biasing every one? Beijing was only reacting to something that someone has done, which is entirely reasonable and within her right.

Sndctalking about big nation bossing small nation? How come we never hear certain member here ever said that to the US?

Yeah, they have poor relations with China so their trade percentage with China is small and their economies are languid. If they had excellent relations with China, being so small and requiring so little to have a large effect, China could easily put their economies on steroids.

The biggest testament to this is America's "allies" abandoning it and isolating it at every UN meet because of Trump's bullying behavior.

Yeah, there has been a lot of that lately, but I wonder how long the USA can continue to push other nations to do there bidding, especially when the economy is about to go off the cliff.
