The provincial lines for Tibet is incorrect, looks like the old ROC division lines. But the rest are PRC provincial boundries

Yes, but we decides to specially mark the Ngari prefecture within the Xizang Autonomous Region (Tibet) since this played a special role within the distribution of the Military regions (see the Lanzhou MR). Probably it turned out in the end as a too bold line.

Harpia - CHina family.jpg

And Yesterday I received a late Christmas or early New Year 2020 present :) , when I found the first review for our latest book 'Chinese Air Power in 20st Century | Rise of the Red Dragon' written by Mark Attrill for the ASIAN AIR ARMS Research Group (

Special thanks to Brian Griffin for sending me the review. I'm indeed very delighted and happy with it.

Just exactly the type of review we would all like to receive my friend, lots of detailed information that is well beyond the attention span of the Air Force Brat... I admire your ability to "see" everything in a photograph, pulling all kinds of detailed information seemingly out of thin air...

I'm just not that patient, but I admire your vast wealth of knowledge and your ability to put 2 + 2 together and come up with 4, thank you for all your hard work, thank you for your patience as you moderate this amazing and most of the time "gentlemanly" forum, we come from a very different perspective at times? (all I'm really interested in is airframes/aerodynamics, I can't explain why?)

but again congratulations and well done.
