I mean, whilst these exercises are provocative, it's fairly obvious that they're practicing island hopping rather than an amphibious landing on the mainland. Armchair generals might think they can roll some Abrams onto Beidaihe, but it's unlikely that the planners are that delusional lol

Some tribute. That's over 50% more than Indonesia is estimated to have paid for A400Ms. Keep in mind that Indonesia is new to the type, Australia has 25 years of experience flying and maintaining C-130Js. Ergo, Indonesians likely get a lot more support equipment included in the price than Australia does.
