Australia was always going to be Australia ie a white supremacist buttboy of whichever anglo hegemon happened to be for the day; at best China could have hoped for Australia to follow New Zealand's route but that just isn't in australia's cultural DNA.

Australia is a society built on perennial anxiety over being 'swamped by asians', like apartheid south africa being afraid of native africans.

Losing australia to the anglos was a huge blow to anyone against anglo imperialism, giving them a continental sized foothold to infiltrate asia. This will come back to haunt asia for centuries until australia is subdued.

Substantantially increases US positioning, making China substantially more vulnerable. Turning Australia into a Second San Diego County completely flips Australia, to think that just a few years ago, there was a FTA between Australia and China
You have got to be kidding me to think that Australia will somehow become a source of Vulnerability for China. At this point, in Australia it is obvious to all but the leadership themselves that in the event that Australia even tries to help the USA in Taiwan, Australia will face lethal consequences for their cheek and ultimately will be made a permanent example that spitting on China's good will not be forgiven. If one knows how China really does things, they will have their revenge. Australia has no allies other then the USA as if they should ever be put out of the way for some reason, Australia is going to truly suffer

Anglo imperialism will not last forever and sooner or later, all of Australia's hopes are pined on the USA. Once shit really hits the fan, Australia is within China's sights and all the targets have been noted. Australia doesn't have the capacity to fight China, not with 60k troops and weapons that are not suitable for facing China in a long engagement and equipment from the USA isn't going to make much of a difference

They ARE Anglos lmao..

If Australia was lost then it was centuries ago when the Anglos first settled the continent. Ever since then they have been inevitable adversaries. As an Aussie told me about Americans "we are not allies, we're family". They will be a endless threat to China until they are pacified.

When I said losing australia to the anglos I meant in the sense that both the Ming and Qing dynasty could have settled the largely empty continent for hundreds of years, or literally any other asian group.

Instead the entire continental landmass was left to the anglos.
