Hi mates. I need help. I wonder if anyone knows the oob of the Taiwanese army for the period of 1980s, preferably for 1989/90/91? Also, when did they start moving from divisions to brigades?

Is it possible that the combat ineffectiveness (The Superstition) and the history of the Boxer rebellion be exaggeratted/propagandized than reality?

Because I heard a similar claim about superstition leading to heavy casualties for the rebels in the Maji Maji war even though in reality the vast majority of the casualties were from famines caused by German scorched earth tactics.

Plus this narrative of the boxer rebellion comes from the same people who said the PVA won using human wave tactics.

PVA had guns and used modern infiltration and assault tactics. Boxers charged across open terrain at tight order bolt-action equipped infantry with swords and spears.

According to Baidu the defeat of the Boxers was because they're fighting both the Qing and the 8 Nations Alliance.
