From what i read in the last posts at the 055 Thread, even people here arent sure about the actuall numbers of 055, 052DL and 054A?
Seems like 054b are still (and may will stay) at two units...
I did a quick search and there doesn't seem to be a thread dedicated towards discussing the future force structure of the PLAN. Given that inevitably, in the flagship threads dedicated to particular classes of ship, conversation tends to devolve towards speculation of the replacement for that class, I'm wondering if there wouldn't be a benefit in creating a thread specifically to discuss what we think the future force structure of the PLAN should be. We could merge the existing threads on Next Generation DDG and FFG as well as 00X (although, maybe keep that separate as 00X (004) is becoming less "future" as we speak).

Does anyone know the reason behind PLAN ships using those green floors?
It looks like they're moving away from it based on the dark grey floors in Fujian but it seems like most ships still have that weird green color.

This is not a PLAN thing, to paint warship rooms light green has long history in the world.
It makes sailor think the room is larger and has better light.
It can calm people down.
(My room has light green wall for the above reasons too)
Another reason is that blood looks not that scary with light green or blue background

thinking whether China will develop 5-5-5 missile that fit in UVLS. I think theoretically 9x 240mm 5-6m length missile can fit comfortably, I think even 250 mm can fit too (a bit push) (?)

I am not sure you are referring to green floor on the open deck or indoor floor inside the ship.
If you are referring to open air deck, then the PLAN ships you mentioned are actually China Coast Guard ships, not the PLAN ships.
If you are referring to the indoor green floor, those are very likely the colors of anti-slip paint.
Whoops should've been clearer but I was referring to the indoor floors. I guess I should've guessed it was anti-slip paint considering I've seen similar on factory floors in China.
It does look like the more recent ones have moved to a darker neutral colors like the grey in Fujian (and in factories too lol)
