The above is the information of the three regions of alleged silos.

The above is the information of the Yumen silos field. Which I think is the general location that you are referring to.

I know about the locations of the missile silos. I was just trying to get the location of your picture to see if the location of the wind turbines you are posting corresponds to the locations of the alleged missile silos. If they do check out, then it will support your claim of "silo" being "shenanigans".

To be frank, the location that you provided is still too vague (off) for me to find the exact location of the wind turbines. The two large fields of alleged missile silos in Yumen are to the east, and to the southeast of the coordinate you provided, respectively. They span hundreds of square kilometers.

I am, personally, not convinced of your picture being the picture of the alleged missile silos. All the alleged missile silos have 2km of distance between each other. However, in your picture, even if we assume the wind-turbine blades are the longest of the world, which is 88.4 meters, the distance between each wind turbine is, at the very very very most, 500 metres. At least the distance between each point of interest doesn't check out.

Sorry, West and Southwest. And the longest wind-turbine blade in the world might actually be longer than 88.4 meters. But still, the distance is no where near 2km.

Hello,
I hope it's the right place for posting this.

Some Chinese military vehicles have numbers painted on them. Like 6302. I suppose it means 6th Battalion, 3rd Company. While 02 probably means 2nd vehicle of that unit. Is it correct?

Additionally some vehicles have things like LD36, LX14, LZ53 printed on them. What does it mean?
Additionally, is there anyway to identify the affiliation of vehicles by any markings? Most other militaries have Divisional or Corps and sometimes regimental signs on them. I have been unable to identify any such thing with PLA.

Thanks.

I have not found the original reference, but those on this forum should be able to confirm it. It is generally accepted that the above is correct. Here is what I use:
PLA orbat notes
Heavy Combined Arms Brigade numbering system
0000
Battalion
0
Company
0
Vehicle in Company
00

The numbering system may be preceded by a letter for the unit or in some cases in small case numbering in front, like LB16 is the 204th Hvy CA BDE of the 78th Group.

Battalions in the BDE are
1-4 CAB (Combined Arms Battalions) note the 1, 2, 3, 4 are IFV and Armor, 5th CO is Firepower with PLZ-05 mortar
5th Recon BN
6th Arty
7th ADA
8th EN
9th BSB

But remember I am just a dumb tanker that is trying to learn like you. Hopefully someone will post the official reference.
