Will China purchase any MC-21s to replace Tu-154, 737s, and other commercial aircraft used by the PLAF? The US uses the 737 for C40, AEW&C, and P8 type roles. I see a C40 like role the easiest to effect obviously.

Hear me out, this would prevent possible additional sanctions, say on the C919 if it was used instead. Using European, or American aircraft could mean possible bans of future sales on these aircraft. It would be a way Audi to support industry in Russia as well, and build confidence in the aircraft for other prospective nations too.

Surely not! Why should the purchase the MS-21, when they have their own C919?

C919 has a high western tech content, doesn't it?. The MS-21 could serve as a stop-gap until a fully indigenized C919 comes online, should shit hit the fan to the point none of the foreign systems of the C9191 can't be sourced anymore.

MC-21 with all Russian content is not ready for production yet. Not that China would do something like what you suggested. They seem to be fine with the Y-9 so far.

I will ask this question here as well. What drones we have bought, CH-92A or FH-92A!? What's the real difference between them? This is the first time I hear about FH-92A. Our military calls them CH-92A.

原来如此!塞尔维亚装备的中国无人机,是飞鸿-92A,并非彩虹-92A

Ok, … 2022 ended and again like the years before it was filled with interesting news and revelations, so now with 2023 already two days old, what can we expect in 2023?

- additional J-35 prototypes
- finally clear KJ-600 images
- J-20AS and J-20B + WS-15 news
- Y-20B enters service
- Z-20S/F enters naval service
- …

My personnel wishes are, we‘ll get a first sight of the operational GJ-11 and the H-20 will be revealed. :p

Personally I am hoping for a new ZTZ-99A variant or future MBT tech demo, Z-10 with engine upgrades, Type 055B, HQ-9C and J-16 upgrades (maybe enough to earn it a J-16B designation) on top of those.
