Strange ... since allegedly take in the "North" it would fit to SAC! So maybe the other part from the tea-cup/tea-plate couple?

Yes, I believe it is probable. This is also considering that Shenyang AC is responsible for the Dark Sword project back then (with the assumption that what we've seen is indeed the Dark Sword UCAV itself or its derivatives).

In the meantime, where's Chengdu AC's counterpart? Hmm...

By the way, any idea what's this at Jining AB? My guess would be a firefighter mock-up!

Yes, looks to be a mockup for firefighting training.

If it's from the north, what are the chances it might be "just" a J-35? The distance and blurry video doesn't help, though that seems to be pretty aggressive maneuvering for a new UCAV/CCA that if so might have flown only recently?

PS: Just saying, if it turns out to be a CCA would be amazing, and another PLAAF development to follow with bated breath.

Unlikely. The silhouette of the unknown aircraft is very different from the J-35/As, especially the wings (which is distinctively more swept back than the J-35/A's, as below).

The forward section of the unknown aircraft looks to be larger/wider than the J-35/A as well.

Reminds me of the JH-XX display model in airshow many years ago. But it is too blur. China is going crazy!

At this moment we cannot rule out a hoax.

I'm surprised the JH-XX programme would still exist, given that the J-36 and H-20 exist. Then again, this mystery aircraft's shape doesn't resemble the J-36's known form nor the H-20's predicted form for its mission set, and it doesn't look like a drone (at least, not any that are currently known), so perhaps it could be the JH-XX.

Didn't the poster say this photo was taken in northern China? Which aircraft design organisation would it belong to? SAC?
