This is not at all true. For example,

"You'll never outrun a car, it's a million times faster than you."

Now is it important whether a car is only ten times faster to the overarching point? No, it's not important.

But anyway, there is no need to attack the video, it's biggest usefulness is in confirming Nvidia's position. They want access to the Chinese market, clearly. They're more than happy to compete and they believe it's in US interest to do so. Jensen also doesn't think China is going to run out of compute either.
That's a good point so I'll rephrase.

I will inherently distrust, and treat as fully discredited, anyone who chooses to exaggerate real metrics by 2x to 5x in the process of trying to argue in favor of something to me. Furthermore, doing so in the process of defending or pushing a policy position is quite different from doing so in the process of discouraging someone from pursuing a physically impossible goal.

Stanford Annual AI Report. China/US AI gap "effectively closed" as AI capability accelerates:

China doesn’t need to win per se. AI is only part of the emerging tech it is investing in whereas the U.S. is going all in. All it needs to do is to keep competitive models open source so Misanthropic and ClosedAI lose billions of dollars in profit.

I hope this awareness also exists at the highest levels. It would be quite disastrous if it were limited to lower ranks outside of Zhongnanhai: in this case, confined to a State Key Laboratory (SKL).

I’ve noticed your posts have been nothing but alarmist. The Chinese AI policy was started back in 2016, proposed at the highest levels of the government. The implications of your comment are somewhat amusing and rather unfortunate.

These new accounts seems to all share the same concern trolling tone. Sometimes I wonder if its the same person operating multiple accounts.

China sex toy makers cautiously embrace AI wave

Shanghai (AFP) – Erotic chatbots, video-synced and voice-activated devices mesmerised visitors at a sex toy expo in Shanghai this weekend, as China's adult product firms join the global AI craze.
"Everyone has the video syncing feature now," an employee at teledildonics firm Amorlink told AFP at the company's stand, which showcased vacuum cups equipped with powerful computing chips.

The Chinese government allows this? Lool
I know how strict they are towards stuffs like this ( banning of porn etc), so I’m surprised this is shown publicly.
Pornography and sex toys are two different things. Government focused on regulating pornographic text, images, and videos than silicone.

So I think it's unlikely that erotic chatbots will be legalized.
