wow, for an airforce pilot, you sure dont seem to circumspect on your ideas.
anyone that thinks that the u.s and china would nuke eachother when possible is a cold war dinosaur. you almost like b o s, saying u,s will win, with no proof. i bet in a dogfight, a plaaf pilot will whoop your @$$. the battlerfield can also determine who wins.

do you actually fly an f-22? its a nice icon.

As a current USAF pilot I can tell you we are not scared of the PLAAF as we could defeat them if the worst possible scenerio happened and stayed conventional. However, A conflict between the US and China would quickly end up being nuclear and conventional forces would'nt matter after the first few salvos. What we all need to do is cool down the rhetoric and work towards peace before the unthinkable aka a mankind killer can take place.

For a knowledgeless pilot like u that owning think ur strong and underestimate the others.

SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST, the editing is kinda hard.

yes, but better you to do it than me...

Lets just say that people on both sides of the pacific are nervous and a conventional attack or engagement can quickly escalate into a nuclear exchange. The only reason the US and the Soviets never went to war was they were smart enough people on both sides to realize that they will be no winners in a nuclear war. After General Zhu said the chinese could'nt defeat the US in a conventional war over the taiwan straits and threatened to use nukes on the US if we helped Taiwan, both sides have had heightened tension. You may have noticed that we moved more ohio class submarines to the pacific from the atlantic after that statement.Trust me as a military person, its not going to be good for the planet if the US and China ever do go to war.

As for my piloting skills, I have faith in my skills to get me through a 1v1 engagement with any russian made plane if thats what you want to know.I never underestimate anyone as that is the first rule to staying alive.
We train with and against the F-22,F-18, F-16 and F-15, the British eurofighter typhoon and Russian planes.About 2 months ago we had a training engagement with the F22, I was in an F-15C all 7 of the F-15's were dead in under 5 mins against 1 Raptor. I hate flying against the F22 its a deadly bird to be in the air against, but flying it after being in an F15 for 8 years is like going from a honda to a ferrari. The only time I seen Velos(a friends callsign) was after my alarm went off indicating I had been shot down.

I just found this forum after a friend told me about it and decided I would come share some things with you all when Im off and bored. Ill try to keep responding and posting in other folks threads seems like a well informed crowd here. :)

Here is a recent pic at Nellis AFB where I work of a F22 and British Eurofighter Typhoon getting ready to train. The eurofighter lost every engagement against the F22 but they mostly trained together as wingmen.

my mig 1.44 icon will own your f-22. haha. if only the russians had enough maoney to make enough 1.44's to exercise againnst the f-22. the 1.44 was designrd to counter the f-22. mig claims its more manuverable and stealthier than the f-22, but thats doubtfull...

no more nuke topics!!! its never going to happen. no one wants to destroy the world. this is all conventianal or uncoventiaonal. no nukes!!!

After the U.S. lost the Vietnam War in 1975, it is said by many pundits that the U.S. will never fight another conventional war in Asia again.

The US won ever major battle in vietnam but lost the war due to lack of political support back home and the south vietnamese lack of battle skills without US over sight. Thats another story for a differant day. We wont be in a land war in asia. The US wouldnt try to deploy troops in China if thats what you mean. Japan, Gaum, Hawaii, the Marshall Islands,South Korea, and Alaska is where US forces forward deploy to.

There is nothing classified about what he is saying. USAF has made it public that the F-22 can mop the floor of up to a dozen F-15C.

And may I add that is is much easier to replicate a military victory than a political one.
