Wouldn't you love to have the honor of taking the first F-35 Bravo down that stripe and off into the wild-blue yonder! In fact Obi Wan, I'm going to make you the Honorary F-35B-MAN, although Jeff Head may want to fight you for that honor,,,,, I'm going to pronounce Jeff, the Honorary F-35C-MAN! and BDPopeye the Official Sino Defense "FORD-MAN!"

You three Gentlemen Exemplify the Love and Honor of Naval Aviation, and carry the "Cross" so to speak for the Royal Navy/United States Navy, if you three gents were given "Flag Rank" and I think we should, you would have not only our Navies, but our whole Nations back in the Black, and back on track!

you three gents feel free to change roles/titles as needed and to appoint your own "sworn deputies", hold your present headings and accelerate to "Flank!".

The Ford was handed over to the US Navy now. We're going to see her soon working up her aircraft on deck and that will be outstanding!

When is the POW scheduled for launch?

On March 11, 2017, the ex-USS INDEPENDENCE left the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Wash., under tow heading for the scrapyard in Brownsville, Tx. The tow took her around South America and was expected to take about two months until the carrier reached International Shipbreaking's facility. During her lay-up in Bremerton, she was extensively used as a parts hulk for the Navy's other aircraft carriers, leading to the decision to scrap her instead of offering her as a museum ship. The INDEPENDENCE is the last of the four FORRESTAL-class aircraft carriers to be scrapped. Her three sisterships have already been or are currently being dismantled in Brownsville.
