I'm plan visiting China again after renewing my 10-year visa. Is anyone interested in having a SDF community meet up in China? Maybe at a Military Expo or someplace we channel our shared autism? I'm not getting any younger so it would be nice to put a face to other members since after being online only for 20+ years.

Zhuhai is a bit of a ripoff though. Even though Yankee/friends go every time they have so many complaints about it.

You Wumaos will first get detained by MSS for tea and once you get deported to Five Eyes Countries you’d be detained and questioned again by homeland security.

Zhuhai Airshow is notorious; the organizers and the municipal government have been unable to cope with the large number of visitors and provide enough services for so many years. Everyone, more or less, has complaints.

From what I’ve heard Changchun is not only free but a lot better organized.

If you actually want to meet with some people on this forum (and assuming others want to join), then going to a normal place would probably be better rather than specifically wanting to organize some military adjacent event or location.

On the other hand if this is a travel/itinerary advice thing for your own travel, it all depends on when the last time you went to China was and what you want to see.
