U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz on Sunday said “all options are on the table” when it comes to limiting Iran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz and economic benefits tied to opening the critical shipping channel.

When asked if U.S. troops would board vessels headed to China, Waltz said, “Well I’m not going to get into operational timelines, but I’ll tell you all options are on the table. The president’s prepared to escalate to de-escalate,” during a Sunday appearance

According to USNI, Gerald Ford CSG is operating again in the Red Sea:

By my reckoning the George H. W. Bush CSG could be within striking range of Iran tomorrow, the same day the current ceasefire expires. It is accompanied by the Supply class fast combat support ship, so the group can cruise at 25-26 knots sustained. USNI should publish an update on its location today.

That would bring the number of CSGs in theatre to three.

And fairly new one, too, 09-25. Maybe dumb bomb stocks aren't as plentiful, either?.
