Vance just now on livestream: no deal has been reached from negotiations. Iran would not accept the terms

Edit: wow those remarks were only 3 minutes. You guys can just look at it yourselves. Vance doesn't look happy.

Quick summary:

1. US side demand no nuclear from Iran. Not just not having bomb itself, but also give up the ability to quickly acquire one. This implies dismantling various facility and inspections. Unsurprisingly these were rejected.

2. Vance implied he tried various incentives to get Iran to commit to point 1, but failed. I think the previous Iran administration might have been receptive to these terms but not now.

3. On the Iranian frozen asset question, "it came up". Did not going into detail, Vance quickly shifted to the nuclear issue.

4. Vance looks frustrated in the entire session. The session lasted only couple minutes, and barely any questions from reporter answered.

Why do they land on an airport? they can land on some paved or flat road like C130 with the transponder off and also somewhere on the East.. The East of Iran is mostly untouched.

For reference, this is the exact aircraft that conducted said flight:

May I know how in the actual fvck do you expect an Airbus A340-600 civilian airliner to "land on paved road or flat road like the C-130 with transponder off"? Do you know how vastly different these two types of aircraft are?

Israel is going to start striking every single plane on the airport included the airport itself too

As if they haven't already tried to accomplish that since the first days of the war?

Also, no civilian aircraft is going to fly when missiles start flying. That's just how things work.

War is just really a racket. For all the geniuses around the american admin, it is impossible for not anyone of them can imagine the outcome of the negotiations. Somebody engineered these timings to manipulate market prices. And those somebody again will reposition their money for the round 2 attacks.

After releasing a clip of CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper declaring the infliction of a "

I could try to assess why the United States Department of War somehow thinks it's a good idea to have a 26 y/o blonde from Texas — who looks and sounds unusually unauthoritative — publicly articulate significant pronouncements on combat operations against Iran.

However, I think I'll leave that assessment mission to someone else . . . :D

From the various news bits I have read it seems both sides didnt want back down.

Negotiations were proceeding good but 2 things happened that derailed the progress.

1) Flights came from Iran, presumaby bringing more hardline IRGC folk that utterly stalled it, on the Uranium issue, both giving up the 60% and promising not to pursue further (like obama deal)
2) NETANYAHO called VANCE in the middle of the talks to tell him to ensure 'israeli interests' and that Lebanon will not be part of any agreement with Iran.
US position is that Government of Lebanon has refused to let Iran handle it (Which is true, its what Lebanon President said they will handle it on their own) so Iran doesnt have the right to talk for the people of lebanon.
US is basically willing to agree on all other points , they offered joint toll on Hormuz with Iran n US both sharing the revenue and Neutral Pakistan will use its navy to keep the peace
So neither US and Iran are directly involved. Iran refused

At one point the talks got so heated that apparently Steve witkoff and Araghci were shouting at each other

Both sides wanted to declare victory and both sides came thinking they had the upper hand, Iranians came more prepared brought more experts, documents and stuff, US did.

Backdoor diplomacy channels are still open but it seems the war will resume soon,
